Who GoodWe are
GoodWe started in Suzhou, China in 2010 as a solar inverter manufacturer, and expanded to Australia just two years later in 2012 with a Melbourne office. In 2020, GoodWe began manufacturing battery storage systems, with Australia among the first markets to receive them.
That inverter-first background carries through to the ESA. Rather than pairing a battery with an inverter sourced from a separate manufacturer, GoodWe builds the ESA as a single pre-wired unit, with the inverter and battery integrated at the factory.

GoodWe now employs around 6,000 people across 20 countries and has installed more than 100 GW of inverter capacity in over 100 countries worldwide. Wood Mackenzie has ranked GoodWe among the top three hybrid inverter suppliers globally.

The GoodWe ESA
Essential Solar installs the GoodWe ESA Series, a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) all-in-one battery available in a range of sizes to suit different homes. Battery modules start at just over 5kWh and can be stacked to 48kWh in a single tower, with the option to run multiple towers in parallel for larger systems.
