What is a microinverter?
An Enphase microinverter converts the direct current (DC) electricity generated by a single solar panel into alternating current (AC) electricity. Unlike traditional central or string inverters, which manage the output of multiple solar panels together, each microinverter is attached to a single solar panel.
Improved Efficiency: Because each panel operates independently, the overall system can perform more efficiently. Issues like shading on one panel won't significantly impact the output of others.
