Our experience with essential solar from the outset was as refreshing as it was impressive. People turned up when they said they would; things got done by the time they said they would - in fact, well inside stated timeframes. They didnã¢â‚¬â„¢t rely on e-mail communication but someone picked up the phone to speak with me and alert me to the arriving e-mail and explain the content. I was most impressed with the installers on the day, they just got on with the job in a no fuss way and completed it extremely quickly. My system uses the enphase micro-inverters, which is regarded as top shelf. Unfortunately the envoy s monitoring system failed on the day of install. Essential solar quickly lodged an rma warranty claim, but have been told by enphase this could take up to two weeks to supply the replacement, which is disappointing but not something essential solar can control. I have been very happy so far with essential solar, i am looking forard to the system being completed.

I chose essential solar as my first impressions were they would deliver a good quality install and use better quality products. They delivered on all fronts and iã¢â‚¬â„¢m happy to say they were professional , helpful and reliable . Also iã¢â‚¬â„¢m particularly happy with the fronius inverter and itã¢â‚¬â„¢s monitoring functions so i can get the best out of the system .

We had quotes from about four companies, and even though essential solar was not the cheapest, we felt that they provided the best value for money overall package. Firoz was very helpful in setting up the initial quote, but we had to make a number of changes to our planned layout due to our unusual roof. David was very helpful in discussions and leading us to a final solution. Mark and his installing team were very efficient and communicated well before and during the installation of our 21 300 watt panels with micro inverters. The final step of connecting up to our electricity supplier was quick and efficient, and essential solar provided comprehensive documents and manuals on a usb stick. The on-line monitoring software works extremely well, giving us reports on energy production and usage in real time. We are impressed with how much energy is being produced and presumably money saved. I would highly recommend essential solar for your solar panel installation.

We were very impressed with essential solar from sales to service and installation. In fact, after sales service has been very good too. We got quotes from about 7 suppliers and everyone was very different. We didn't go with the cheapest or the most expensive - we feel like we have obtained good value for money. They are installed now but not finally signed off - so time will only tell whether we made the right decision in terms of output!

Sales person, firoz, was very knowledgeable and demonstrated credibility up front and with subsequent advice / negotiations. They were not the cheapest but i felt i was dealing with good people. No hard up-sell - in fact i was advised that i didn't need to spend more money on tilt-frames as the efficiency impact was low and could better / more cheaply be off-set by a couple of extra panels. The installers needed to fit in with my builder's schedule and on-site rules (new property), which they did without any issues, including turning up on the date arranged and roughing in for cabling which enabled smooth subsequent inverter installation after the plastering had been completed. Quite impressive actually as in my experience it isn't uncommon for plans to change. The panels are a little closer to the roof edge than i would have preferred to allow for easier maintenance, but in fairness i had asked them to move them closer than the original plan (to allow for future panels on the roof), and i wasn't there to guide them. The handling of enquiries by front-office people was efficient and accurate (brenda and hayley). Overall a very good experience and i would comfortably recommend them.

Just had essential install our second solar electric system, and are very happy with the results. Our first system, in 2016, was on our own home, in hoppers crossing, melbourne, and consisted of a redback inverter , 4. 05 kw of panels and a 4. 8 kwh pylon battery system. My only regret with this is that we should have installed a few more panels. Our second system has just been installed on a rental property, also in hoppers crossing. It has a fronius inverter and 6. 5 kw of panels. Both systems were installed promptly and efficiently, and at very competitive costs. The second system will give our tenant lower electricity costs and provide a small income to us as well. If the opportunity arises to put solar units on our other rental properties, essential will be our supplier of choice.

Essential solar were one of the first quotes i received. Not knowing a thing about solar, all the information was explained in detail and the quote for a 4 kw system was straight forward and easy to understand. After getting six quotes and doing a lot of investigating of what were quality tier 1 panels and the best inverters, i asked essential solar to re-quote on a 5 kw system, using premium panels and inverter. We negotiated and installation took place the next week. The installers were great. Very efficient and quick. They explained what they were about to do and when completed explained what the inverter was about. The office staff are a credit to essential solar in answering queries and in one instance contacting my electricity supplier to ensure that connection to the grid was in their system. What a great company to deal with their installers were really helpful explaining how it works and the excellent quality of the system. The office backup and communication has been awesome with hayley sorting out our supply back to the grid. They have constantly been following up and making sure i don't have to worry about the forms being filled in. They werent the cheapest but they did what they said when they said and i wasnt willing to gamble price for quality and service. I couldnt recommend them highly enough and have done so to my friends. Not really sure if it's value for money as i didn't do a recent comparison. I had a quote a few years ago which was cheaper but heard good reports about es from my son. I wanted a reliable, good quality system so i didn't have any hassles. It's only been installed for a month but seems to be doing everything it is supposed to.

Great advise and very approachable. Only disappointed with the activation process from the certificate of safety to the electricity retailer. Massive delays (in relation to installation 1 day! Which was fast) means you donã¢â‚¬â„¢t get get value back for well over a month. Meanwhile you canã¢â‚¬â„¢t even use what you produce!

I am disappointed in the time it takes to get my system connected to the grid, this has nothing to do with essential solar but down to the energy retailer "energy australia" and the wholesaler "jemena". I was led to believe it would be connected in about a month. My system was installed on the 18th august and i'm told won't be connected to the grid until early october. . . . . . . . . Not good enough, maybe they stretch it out for the free power i'm producing and everyone else. Just me being cynical .

We found the team to be professional in their approach and the installing team led by jason to be extremely proficient and helpful. Essential solar were the only company willing to organise a face to face meeting prior to signing. Though other companies were quite helpful over the phone and email, this meeting made a difference in our minds considering the cost of the system we were considering. It also meant that essential solar had a first hand opportunity to inspect the site and pick up on any issues or opportunities for system improvement. Without this, some of the companies we sought quotes from seemed to be loading up the installation part of the quote given we had terracotta tiles claiming that it would be inevitable that tiles would be broken and this had to be allowed for. On the day, the installation went very smoothly and no tiles were broken, probably a reflection of the fact they were newer terracotta tiles as opposed to 100 year old tiles that i am certain do pose installation challenges, particularly with breakage. All aspects of the installation were completed efficiently and neatly which was good to see as although i had insisted on essential solar's employee installation team doing the install, the paperwork i received seems to indicate a subcontractor was involved. No biggie but you do hear that this issue has led to poor installation outcomes for some solar system buyers. In any case, we were happy with our experience and appreciated a follow up call from the consultant a few weeks after install to see if we were satisfied with the process and how the system is performing. I would happily recommend essential solar to family and friends.

We had a great experience with essential solar. We bought 24 x canadian solar pv panels with a fronius inverter. We got three quotes and essential solar were the only ones who came to our house to check the positioning of the inverter and to speak to us about options. Paul, our sales consultant knew his stuff and we really liked the fact that essential solar are closely located with and aligned with fronius which gave us the comfort that if something went wrong it would be fixed. Our install team were also great, communicated well and did a good job. I can definitely recommend, they did a good job and the follow up customer service has also been excellent

Essential solar installed a ~3. 5kw battery ready system in our inner melbourne house in march 2018. We decided to forego the battery on roi alone however went for the micro-inverter over a single inverter after viewing the video on this site and discussions on other sites. We felt that this would allow for maximum throughput on cloudier days as well as not having to move the aircon. The sales pitch was great and ability to describe what was best lead us to essential after checking solarquotes for confirmation. The installation was extremely professional as we had near 90kph winds two nights later and the panels appear to be still there! The sign-off of the system however was disappointing to say the least although this may not be essential's own doing but the complete and utter muppet inspector who had to sign off on the installation. To request someone to drive 4. 5 hours back to melbourne or to get their wife to leave an emergency department is really taking the p155 after not organising an appointment prior to attending, and the pillock did both! There is suppose to be an phone app that will show each panel's output and collectively show how much the house is using vs collecting overall although we are yet to receive the keys to this. All in all i would highly recommend essential, their only area of improvement needed being post installation although this was probably a once off. I would also urge you to consider micro-inverters over the single inverter.

The microinverter system we chose required a panel to be installed next to our existing fuse box. While it may have been mentioned during the quotation stage i was under the impression that it would be part of the existing fuse box / next to it. As it turned out the unit was not as unobtrusive as i had expected. The lead installer did not my surprise and mentioned that it was not an unusual response from other clients who had had similar systems installed. Otherwise the process was very streamlined, the installation crew were professional and courteous and cleaned up after the installation. They were able to answer all of my questions on the day. Follow up from the office was also quick. Hayley is an extremely patient individual and i think went out of her way to help. Currently we are waiting for our electricity supplier to process our request for our feed in tariff to be activated.

I would strongly recommend essential solar to any one interested in obtaining solar. They are switched on right from the start. I must mention that the sales person i dealt with was a gentlemen and did not try to rip you off . He knew his products and went out of his way to answer any questions. I must also mention that the staff at the head office were very help full when ever i needed to deal with them. I picked these guys, not because of they were the cheapest, far from it. I picked them because they appreciated that when spending over 10k you want to take your time to consider the options, there were some negotiations that occurred, which was great, and then we settled on a deal. Unlike one of the recommended installers i was emailed, who i won't name here, push, push push, that same installer even had the nerve to suggest i don't get a second quote because there are some dodge installers out there; yep and i'm talking to one. Anyway, we got a 6. 2kw of sunpower e20 panels and hooked that up to solaredge optimizers and a 5kw inverter, which i understand is good quality stuff, let see how it holds up in 12 years time and if it was worth the coin. Highly recommend these guys, i felt comfortable dealing with them.

Surprised and pleased with the company's proactive response to making an appointment for the rep to speak with us. The rep's presentation was structured and clearly explained, covering technical and financial aspects of solar power. Delighted with how fast the company arranged for all the necessary paperwork submissions and project approvals. The installers worked very well as a team and the installation was completed in about 5 hours. Communication with the admin staff has been easy and they were quick to provide information or assistance when required. Solar quotes website made researching the subject easy, with a very readable and relaxed style of prose. Altogether, once we decided to investigate the possibility of installing solar power, the whole process from initial research to installation inspection was uncomplicated. We paid a little over $6, 000 and essential solar were fantastic to work with. From the salesperson to a remarkable office staff. They were excellent on communication and checking to see they were on track - e. G. Where the panels were to be placed. By checking their proposed placement before the installation day we were able to clarify we wanted north and west facing panels (not just west); this checking saved any angst that could have come. Even on the day the installers checked yet again. They cleaned up all the packaging, taking it with them. We were very impressed by the professional service all around.

After researching solar systems and components for our home for just under 4 weeks, and getting 4 quotes, we decided on essential solar to install our 5kw system. They were by no means the cheapest but are very competitive. What made our minds up to choose essential solar was the excellent customer service and product knowledge provided by ray bout at our face to face meeting - and the high quality components essential solar use. He explained every detail carefully to us so we had a full understanding of the products they would be installing. After we signed on the dotted line we were then placed in the hands of the office staff, mainly rebecca mcleod, who communicated with us regularly keeping us up to date on the process and progress of our install. The install team turned up promptly on the scheduled day (even a bit before their appointed start time) and worked efficiently and effectively getting our panels up and operational in just over 1/2 a day. They were polite, communicative and informative on all they were doing when approached. We had a small hiccup a few hours after they left and one of the team members came straight back to rectify it. The processing of our paperwork so that we could get up and running was efficient and, where we were told that we may not be able to use our solar for 3-4 weeks (as the next steps were dependent on outside sources) we were benefiting from our system in just 2 weeks. Along the way, and since we have started using our system, we have had cause to contact the office team for some assistance and each and every time our query was handled promptly and efficiently at the time of the call. We cannot recommend essential solar highly enough and trust that if you choose them, you will get the same efficient, courteous and professional service that we have experienced. The unit was installed one day the next the paper work was signed of and the inspector turned the solar on. Finn i would like to say thank you for providing the three quotes from retributive suppliers, i also received two other quotes from other suppliers, however decided to go with one of the ones that you provided, all i can say is that they were fantastic from the service supplied by their admin staff to the fantastic installers on the day (nothing that i asked was out of the question or too hard. They took the time to explain the design and any changes that they suggest to benefit me (that a first). The installers were fantastic and cause the least amount of noise and disturbance, were very clean and respective to all members of the house hold.
