Like any major investment, constant monitoring and maintenance is necessary to ensure your solar system is performing effectively. At Essential Solar we can offer a number of service plans for home owners who have an existing solar PV system, from a general health check through to a major service, clean and inverter replacement

Service Plan A

System Health Check-up – Inspection only

This is a preventive maintenance program which involves inspection of certain system parameters in order to ensure hassle free performance of your system and to prevent any unforeseen breakdown.

What we do ?
  • Visually inspect the PV panels, electrical cablings, conduits,inverter and labelling from the ground level
  • Electrical Testing at the inverter level
  • Perform Anti-islanding test according to the AS/NZS 4777 standards and ESV instructions
  • Provide a service report showing the inspection results along with a yield analysis report.
Service Plan B

Full System Health Check-Up/Service

This is a preventive maintenance program which covers all the items included in the basic package but added with an extended electrical testing (by an authorised
electrician)

What we do ?
  • Visually inspect the PV panels,Mounting structures for corrosion, browning and other possible defects from the roof level
  • Check the mechanical fixings on the rooftop and perform torque tests.
  • Extended Electrical testings on the inverter and other protection devices.
  • Advise you remedial action.
Cleaning only Plan

 

This plan involves cleaning up the PV
modules, in case of accumulation of any dirt and debris over it. This plan is to ensure the
modules are performing at its maximum
efficiency.

leaves, debris or obstructions in and around the PV panels.

Check only from ground level Advise remedial action as required.
c) Visually check for dirt or debris in or around the inverter or
control equipment
Isolate power prior to rectification Brush off any debris. Advise further remedial action as required.
Electrical Testing at the inverter a) Record each string voltage Read from Inverter Recorded on Inspection form
b) Record each string current Read from Inverter Recorded on Inspection form.
c) Record power to the grid Read from Inverter Recorded on Inspection form.
(d) Record total power produced (Etotal) Read from Inverter Recorded on Inspection form.
Perform Anti-Islanding Test Perform this test according to ESV instructions and AS/NZS 4777. Record the result on the inspection form.
Signage Check Check all Labelling and replace where necessary.
