LG Electronics operate within five areas: energy solutions, air conditioning, mobile communication, home appliances and home entertainment. In 2014, the LG group consolidated many solar research laboratories into one solar module mass production unit. Using decades of research, they soon went on to product their first solar cell.
LG Electronics firmly believe that solar power is the future for the LG Group and achieved their first industry success when they constructed a 14MW scaled solar power plant in Taean Korea back in 2008. Since then, LG have been responsible for the supply of wafers for the project. Their solar panels are now at the forefront of the industry and are developed with both residential and commercial use in mind.
LG Electronics may be based in Seoul, Korea but there’s an Australian division headquarters based in Sydney and regional offices in every mainland state to ensure impeccable customer service.
